Manchester City Tournament
What a treat our Year 5 and 6 footballers have had today! we were given the opportunity to attend a football tournament hosted by none other than Manchester city. Our children faced a number of group matches, competing against other schools and were successful in making it as far as the quarterfinals round. They showed great effort and skill throughout each of their matches making staff extremely proud of their efforts.
A question and answers session was also on the cards with Rico Lewis- one of the youngest ever goal scorers in the champions league. As a final treat, the children had a cheeky photo opportunity with legendary players.
