Open Day 2023

I would like to welcome you to Leigh St. John’s CE Primary School where children are the beating heart of all we do.  If you are considering an application to our school for your child, please enjoy browsing the information on this website to gain a flavour of life at our happy school.  Myself and the team would be delighted to meet prospective parents for September 2024 intake in person at our open day tours being held on Thursday 2nd November 2023.  

I believe that our school is special and the relationships we develop with our children and their families are the bedrock of all of our work. God's love is also key to our happy school; our vision stems from the words of Micah 6:8, ‘Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly.’I consider it a privilege to work with fantastic children, an amazing staff team and very supportive families.  Our school has a very proactive Governing body who give their time freely to support the school.

At St. John’s, we have high aspirations for our children and endeavour to open their hearts and minds to what is available to them in the world. Our school charter, which is essentially our commitment to providing a range of experiences for children throughout their learning journey, shows our high expectations and ambition for each of them.
