• Anne Frank Exhibition

  What a great time we have had at the Anne Frank Exhibition!

  During the Anne Frank workshop, the children had to work in groups to find out as much information as they could from the few clues that they were given. It was great to see the children reading the information, figuring out what had happened and then explaining what they had learnt so far in order to receive another clue.

  We then had a peek at the science exhibition (Elements) and also looked at the history exhibition including the Egyptians.

  The children were extremely sensible and made us so proud!

• Cross Country Comp

  A huge well done to all of our runners today! They pushed themselves and aimed to achieve their personal best! It was lovely to see them celebrating and working out how many places they had ‘moved up’ from last year.

  Well done to year 5 for their effort and enthusiasm in their first cross country experience too!

  I did try to get as many photographs as possible but they were moving quite quickly and some slipped past at the finish line!

  

• Sports Equipment Competition

  UPDATE... as you may know, we have been requesting  competition packs from Aldi where we can be entered into a draw to win money for sports, free sports kits ad lots of other exciting bits and bobs that would make our PE opportunities even more exciting! If you spend £30 or more at Aldi, you should be given a sticker! We needed to collect 300 stickers to fill a competition chart. So far we have managed to complete four full charts with your help, and are well on our way to completing a fifth! As the closing date is fast approaching, we will need to send our charts off early next week, so keep your fingers crossed! Thank you for all your help with collecting the stickers!
