"60 yd shots, rash challenges, red cards and the stretcher" - and that was just the staff!!! What an amazing afternoon of footy! Well done to the winning team - Australia! And of course well done to all our St. John's soccer superstars who played really well and thanks to their families who came in numbers to offer their support.

"Live, love and learn in the light of Jesus" was the message that Year Two brought back to school from Manchester Cathedral. They had an amazing time learning about the role of the Cathedral in the lives of Christians and enjoyed all the activities on offer there.

"Javelin, long jump, sack race, egg & spoon and dress the teacher" were some of the fabulous events included in this years' sports day! Even the sun made an appearance to add to the enjoyment. Thank you to all the parents, carers and families who came along to support their little St. John's Superstars! Special thanks also go to Mrs Hatton and Miss Simpson for organising such a wonderful event.

"60 yard shots, rash challenges, red cards and the stretcher" - The World Cup hasn't even started yet! The Lads and Dads Lego project was a spectacular event and congratulations to everyone that took part - the finished lego movies are simply amazing!!! Special thanks go to Mrs Williams and her sidekick Mr Coultas for their hard work in facilitating this event. Be sure to catch a viewing of the amazing movies on our School TV.

It was marvellous to welcome our new children and families to St. John's this afternoon for the start of our 'Big School Time' visits. Our little children settled quickly and enjoyed playing in their new classrooms. We look forward to seeing them on their next visit!
