  Many thanks to everyone that attended this special service to commemorate ​the beginning of our new era with KS2 pupils.  It was lovely to join together with Leigh St. Mary's C.E. Primary School to celebrate this exciting time.

• Let's go the mile!

  St John’s has signed up to take part in the local authority challenge of walking/jogging a mile – 10 laps of our school grounds. Our children practised this week and are ready to start logging their mileage over the coming weeks. There will be different clubs to join; the 1 mile, 5 mile and 10 mile club. Each club may take a number of weeks to join. This is a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle and use our school grounds to help! Look out for further updates on our newsletter and via Tapestry. 

• Leigh Heritage Canal Boat Celebration

  Thanks to our Y2 children and their families for parading their laterns through the town centre and participating in the Leigh Heritage celebrations.  How lucky our pupils were to climb aboard the famous Kittywake canal boat!

• A new chapter

  Today we opened our doors for the first time as Leigh St. John's C.E. Primary School and our children looked stunning in their brand new school uniform.  What a exciting future we have ahead of us!
