• Carol Singing at Heathside Care Home

  Our choir sang beautifully at Heathside Care Home last week! The ladies watching loved every minute and some enjoyed it so much that they even shed a tear! We are so proud of how understanding the children were and how much they wanted to help bring a smile to the ladies who were watching. They were most definitely fantastic roles models and they made their grown ups so proud! 

  

• Nativity time!

  We are all feeling so proud after the amazing Nativity performance that the children did today. All of the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 blew are socks off! Well done to each and every child for giving us such a wonderful show! They practised and rehearsed, learning their lines, stage directions, songs and dances. It was amazing to seem them standing so confidently on the stage in front of more than 150 parents!

   

  Also, we would like to say a big thank you to parents for your on going support and providing the lovely costumes and supporting your child to learn their lines to help make this performance a huge success!

  To help spread the Christmas Spirit, our School Council members wrote letters to invite members of the community to different 'Christmassy Events' in school. One of these events was held by our KS2 boys and girls when Y3 and Y4 held a sing-a-long performance!

  

• Y3 and Y4 Christmas Sing-a-long!

  Our Y3 and Y4 children have yet again blown our socks off with their amazing atttiudes, tremendous talent and sensational singing! They wowed their grown ups with a fantastic sing-a-long of Christmas Carols whilst they joined in with the singing and enjoyed a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. A wonderful family event!

   

  

• Our AMAZING Choir at the Christmas Carol Service

  We were absolutely blown away by our wonderful boys and girls who formed our Christmas Choir at Church this evening. They stood at the front of a full church and sang their hearts out. It was amazing to see them standing there so confidently and spreading the word that 'we are God's messengers'! Well done everyone!

  

• Final JAM Club

  This week was the final Family JAM Club. We had lots of fun, listening to Christmas songs and being creative with the helps of our grown ups. We made Christmas trees, snowmen and snowflakes! 

  

• Christmas Dinner Day

  Leigh St Johns set off our festive season with a delicious Christmas dinner! Denise the cook gave children and staff a yummy feast of roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings. As you can see, the children and staff had lots of fun and dinner was enjoyed by all! Welcome to the Christmas season everyone!
