The Polar Express
After break, something strange happened to the Year 2 classrooms. A snow blizzard swept through the classrooms making it icy cold and the chairs and tables moved to a strange looking layout. The children were greeted at the door by a controller who gave them all a ticket to board the Polar Express. They found their seat on the train, enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream before heading off on a journey to the North Pole. They were so excited and watching a short clip of 'The Polar Express' brought the learning to life. They then produced some amazing writing about the journey!
