Y1 Kenyon Hall Farm Trip

We’ve had a lovely (and cold! ❄️) day at Kenyon Hall Farm. The children were absolute superstars and coped so well in the cold conditions, I think the snow made the trip even more exciting for the children! Thank you for wrapping them up nice and toasty! When we arrived we learn’t all about different types of grains that they grow on the farm and explored lots of different vegetables. We then had a walk around the farm, exploring the first signs of Spring. The children enjoyed jumping in muddy puddles and catching the snow on their tongues! 😊 We spotted lots of different trees and talked about which ones are evergreen and deciduous. Back in the farmers classroom we planted some peas that we look after in school. The children have learnt all of the important things that a seed needs to grow. We will update you on the progress of their seeds! The children were very well behaved and did St.Johns proud. 💛💛
