🍓 What a wonderful day we have had today at Kenyon Hall Farm!
First of all we had a chat about different plants that are grown on the farm and what we use them for. We learnt about wheat, oil seed rape, oats and barley. 🌾 🚜
After that we went on a walk through different parts of the farm looking at some of the fruits and vegetables that grow there. We looked at pumpkins, apple trees, cherry trees, plum trees, tayberries, raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and strawberries!! 🍏🍒🍓
After a quick shade break and drink break we went to the strawberry tunnels to pick some strawberries. The children thoroughly enjoyed picking their own strawberries!
💫We were blown away by the children’s behaviour today and this was commented on by lots of the public. What a credit to St John’s you are! 💫
